Launching a research needs assessment for METRO members

The work of the Digital Equity Research Center has given our team at METRO occasion to think more about the role of research in assisting our member institutions to adjust or improve their services.

Center staff have recently kicked off a project to better understand the research needs that exist in METRO’s network and to assess which ones METRO may be best suited to help with. We’re glad to be contributing our skills towards this exciting undertaking, and to connect with METRO’s membership about their research needs and aspirations. 

The input we gather will help METRO determine new directions and serve our members as well as we can. If you work at a member organization, consider taking this brief survey about the research already underway at your organization as well as areas that could be better-supported through collaborative research projects. Results will be shared directly with those who complete the form, and via METRO’s newsletter and other communication channels in the months ahead.
