Understanding Digital Navigator Programs through the Human Infrastructure of Broadband Survey

This week the Benton Institute for Broadband & Society has released a survey for a new project examining the work of people who help connect others to broadband. METRO’s Digital Equity Research Center is proud to be supporting the project alongside the American Library Association and National Digital Inclusion Alliance.

The Human Infrastructure of Broadband project will seek to understand how digital navigator programs are being/have been conducted around the country. Digital navigation can mean a whole range of activities, from helping people access devices or enroll in ACP, helping patients learn to use telehealth portals, or adding a “technology layer” to work that focuses on affordable housing or financial literacy. If your organization works on these or related issues, please take the survey, which is open through May 24th.
